- Install solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, mounting structures, batteries, and electrical components.
- Conduct site assessments, roof evaluations, and shading analyses.
- Ensure all installation work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to engineering standards.
- Assist in designing solar energy systems based on client needs and site conditions.
- Prepare technical drawings, system layouts, and load calculations.
- Support sales and project teams with technical information and solution recommendations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and corrective repairs on solar systems.
- Diagnose issues with solar panels, inverters, wiring, and electrical connections.
- Ensure optimal system performance and provide timely technical support to clients.
- Ensure all installations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including installation reports, test results, and commissioning records.
- Provide system operation training to clients post installation.
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, technicians, and subcontractors during installations.
- Provide excellent customer service and support during and after project execution.
- Represent the company professionally during site visits and client interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in solar PV installation or renewable energy technologies are an added advantage.
- 2–5 years hands on experience in solar PV installation, electrical installation, or energy systems engineering.
- Experience working with off grid, on-grid, hybrid, and battery storage systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with inverter brands, solar monitoring systems, and PV design tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of solar PV technologies and electrical systems.
- Solid installation, wiring, and testing skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards, electrical codes, and installation best practices.
- Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
- Proficiency with basic power tools and installation equipment.
