Qualifications & Requirements
- The Driver / Logistics Officer is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation, while supporting the coordination of logistics operations within the organization. This role involves timely movement of personnel and materials, maintaining assigned vehicles, and ensuring effective delivery and distribution processes.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of items being transported
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular servicing and maintenance schedules are followed
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance activities
- Safely transport staff, and goods to designated locations as required
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and organizational transport policies
- Adhere to assigned schedules and demonstrate flexibility when required
- Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly.
- Candidates should possess an SSCE/OND qualification with 2-4 years driving experience, preferably in a corporate or structured environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Good knowledge of road networks and routes
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory handling
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability
- Good communication skills
- Professional attitude and good interpersonal conduct
- Candidate must reside in Abuja.
