Position Overview
Metaverse Magna, a mobile games publisher, is building the next-generation mobile gaming platform called Hyper. This platform helps gamers win cash in 1v1 & multiplayer skill-based game tournaments in games like Candy crush & many more mobile games. While also assisting game developers in monetizing their games ten times more effectively.
As Social Media Manager, you will own Hyper's social presence end-to-end. You will be responsible for shaping the social media voice, developing high-performing social strategies, managing our short-form video pipeline, and driving engagement across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X/Twitter.
You are part strategist, part storyteller, part content creator. You understand what makes short-form content perform, you can translate product features into compelling narratives, and you know how to collaborate closely with editors and creators to consistently publish viral, high-retention content.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and own the social media strategy across channels including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X/Twitter.
Create content calendars, scripts, hooks, and briefs for video editors and AI content creators.
Maintain a clear brand voice and ensure content is consistent in tone, style, and visual identity.
Design and run social growth experiments: virality hooks, creator challenges, content farms, live streams, micro-tournaments, referral campaigns.
Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community engagement (comments, replies, trends).
Identify trends, sound bites, hooks, and moments that align with Hyper's audience and gaming culture.
Build reusable content systems (templates, series formats, thematic pillars) to increase publishing speed and consistency.
Operate with a "social growth" mindset: experiment, measure, iterate, and push for continuous improvement in content velocity and performance.
Serve as an on-camera personality for Hyper's social channels explaining concepts, trends, product features, in a relatable, engaging way
Preferred Experience
2+ years experience in social media management, content strategy, or short-form content production.
Deep understanding of social platforms' dynamics: TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, X/Twitter
Strong understanding of social algorithms, virality mechanics, and audience behavior.
Experience writing scripts and hooks specifically optimized for short-form content.
Proficiency with Canva and CapCut for creating quick edits, thumbnails, and lightweight content enhancements.
Ability to collaborate with editors, content creators, and designers to produce high-volume content.
Familiarity with gaming culture, memes, pop-culture and internet language is a strong plus.
Comfortable being on camera and presenting information in a clear, friendly, and engaging manner (previous front-facing content experience is a plus).
