Role Summary
- The Sales and Business Development Manager shall be responsible for driving revenue growth for the Company through strategic sales initiatives, business development activities, and relationship management.
- The role involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and market presence of the travel business.
Key Responsibilities
The Employee shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Developing and implementing effective sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identifying, prospecting, and securing new corporate and individual clients for travel services, including flights, hotels, tours, and travel packages.
- Managing and growing relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Conducting market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities within the travel industry.
- Preparing and delivering sales proposals, presentations, and quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiating contracts and closing sales in line with Company policies and approved pricing structures.
- Collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, leads, pipelines, and conversions, and preparing periodic sales reports for management review.
- Representing the Company at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings as required.
- Performing such other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Employer from time to time.
Sales Targets and Commission
- The Employee shall be assigned specific sales targets and performance objectives by the Employer.
- In addition to the Employee's fixed remuneration, the Employee shall be entitled to earn commission on completed and successfully executed sales, subject to the Company's commission structure, policies, and terms as may be determined or amended by the Employer from time to time.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry (essential),
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Good understanding of the Nigerian travel market and corporate client landscape.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or sales tracking tools.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and self-motivation.
Salary
N350,000 per month.
