The Admin role is the broadest operating role in Careersome. Admins are responsible for the company setup, access model, and the organization wide workflows their package includes.
What Admin usually owns
- Organization setup, departments, and policy level configuration
- User invitations, role assignment, and reporting structures
- Company wide HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, performance, engagement, compensation, succession, offboarding, reports, and stories when entitled
- Governance decisions about who should see which module and who should approve which workflow
What Admin usually sees
- The widest version of the sidebar
- Company level dashboards and report surfaces
- Organization settings, which is the main Admin only area
- Cross functional workflows that connect HR, finance, and leadership views
How Admin works with others
- Enables the structure HR needs to run people operations
- Gives managers the right reporting lines so team pages work correctly
- Gives employees the right role and access scope for personal pages
- Reviews missing access complaints by checking both role and plan scope
What Admin should check first when something looks wrong
- Is the user's role correct?
- Is the module entitled for this tenant?
- Does the employee have a reporting manager if manager features are expected?
- Is the workflow in the right status?
