FAQ
Questions, answered
Does Careersome change my real background?
No. Careersome tailors the CV you upload for each job from your verified profile, without ever inventing titles, companies, or qualifications.
Can I edit an application before it's sent?
Yes. Every application stays in your daily queue until you review it. Adjust the note, the details, or dismiss the job before approving.
Can I try it without paying?
Yes. Free gives you personalized job recommendations to see the matches. Pro also starts with a 3-day free trial, so you can try tailored applications and Auto Apply before being charged.
What does Pro add?
Tailored applications built from your experience, a daily review queue, and Auto Apply after approval. Free is job recommendations only.
How does Pro's free trial work?
Pro starts with a 3-day free trial. We ask for a payment method upfront, but you're not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the 3 days end, you pay nothing. If you don't cancel, your card is charged automatically for the first month, then billing continues monthly until you cancel.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Careersome never stores your card details. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, one of the world's leading payment providers, which uses bank-level encryption and is fully PCI compliant.
Which countries are the jobs in?
Roles across Africa, including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa, plus remote roles that hire from the continent.
Will you invent experience I do not have?
No. A tailored CV is rewritten from the profile and CV you provide. Titles, employers, and qualifications stay yours.
