Creating Engagement Surveys

Build a survey, target exactly who should get it, and launch.

Creating Engagement Surveys

Employee Engagement is available on Professional full-suite plans and above.

Creating a survey: title, description, category (Pulse, Annual, Team, Exit Interview, and others), start date, and end date.

Targeting who gets it: All Employees, specific Department(s), specific Role(s), or individually Selected Employees. Category is just organizational metadata, it doesn't affect who receives the survey, target audience is the actual targeting control. Picking Team as your category suggests Department targeting, and Exit Interview suggests Specific Employees, but you can override either suggestion.

Question types: rating scales, multiple choice, and open-ended text, covering things like job satisfaction, work-life balance, manager effectiveness, and culture.

Launching: a survey with a future start date goes out as scheduled, or you can activate it immediately. The moment it goes active, every targeted employee gets a task in their task list and an email notification, tasks aren't created at creation time, only at launch.

Anonymous by default: new surveys default to anonymous responses. This isn't just a label, small departments are automatically suppressed from breakdown views below a configurable minimum group size, so a 1 or 2-person team's individual score can't be reverse-engineered from a "department average."
