Salary Bands and Market Data

Salary bands define a pay range (minimum, median, maximum) per role, level, and location, global, country, or region-scoped.

Market data: import external benchmark data from Payscale, Mercer, or manual entry to keep bands grounded in reality rather than guesswork.

Compa-ratio, the real formula: current salary divided by market median. A band percentile position is also calculated, showing exactly where someone sits between the band's minimum and maximum. Both numbers are genuine calculations, not placeholder estimates, used to flag who's below, at, or above market.
