  • We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team here in Nigeria. This is a core, boots-on-the-ground role where you will take full ownership of driving the sales of our Environmental, Sanitation & Material Handling Equipment portfolio. We are looking for a specialist who understands the local landscape and is ready to take our market presence to the next level.
  • Previous experience in selling environmental, sanitation, municipal, waste-management, road-maintenance, material handling, or specialized equipment is a mandatory requirement for this role. We need someone who already understands the products, the customer pain points, procurement processes, and the competitive landscape in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Equipment Sales: Take full charge of the sales cycle for our environmental, sanitation, and material handling equipment portfolio, from prospecting key accounts to closing deals and ensuring project success.
  • Strategic Market Development: Conduct rigorous market analysis to identify new growth opportunities and refine our approach to the local competitive landscape.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary face of SANY for our clients, providing customized equipment solutions and building long-term, high-value partnerships.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and execute sales plans, manage payment collection schedules, and ensure all regional sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Marketing & PR Execution: Partner with the regional team to coordinate high-impact marketing activities, industry events, customer demonstrations, and client site visits that showcase our equipment capabilities.

Requirements

  • Essential: Proven, verifiable experience selling environmental equipment, sanitation equipment, municipal equipment, waste-management equipment, road-maintenance equipment, material handling equipment (MHE), forklifts, warehouse equipment, commercial vehicles, or specialized industrial equipment in Nigeria.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Skills: Expert-level market research, data analysis, key account management, tender management, and professional business negotiation skills.
  • Mindset: High resilience, ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, and a strong drive to exceed sales quotas.
