A Snapshot of Your Day:
As a Senior Financial Commercial Sales Manager & Commercial Project Manager, you will serve as the financial business partner for the Sales and Project Management organizations, managing all financial and commercial aspects of service orders throughout the project lifecycle.
You will play a key role during bid preparation, contract negotiations, project execution, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, optimizing project profitability, managing risks, and supporting strategic business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
Commercial & Financial Management:
Review, analyze, and negotiate the financial and commercial aspects of customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements.
Ensure accurate cost calculations and pricing strategies during contract negotiations in collaboration with Sales Leads and Project Managers.
Provide commercial support throughout project execution in accordance with PM@SE guidelines and contractual obligations.
Manage all commercial and financial aspects of assigned service projects.
Project Financial Management:
Perform monthly revenue recognition, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Manage project cash flow, profitability, and margin optimization.
Monitor project risks and opportunities while implementing mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with IFRS 15, local GAAP, tax regulations, foreign exchange requirements, and internal financial policies.
Perform project-related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support internal and external audits.
Contract & Stakeholder Management:
Monitor contractual compliance, including performance guarantees, foreign exchange hedging, insurance, and tax requirements.
Prepare and present project financial status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
Support special assignments and maintain close collaboration with customers and internal business partners.
Communicate financial risks, opportunities, and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Bring
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Finance, Business Administration, or Commercial Project Management.
Experience supporting project execution within industrial or engineering environments is preferred.
Experience managing project financials throughout the complete project lifecycle.
Leadership experience is considered an advantage.
