We are seeking a dynamic First-Line Sales Manager to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. In this role, you will drive business growth by empowering SME exporters to navigate complex cross-border transactions. Leading a team of 5 - 10 sales professionals, As a senior business development manager, you will oversee a hybrid sales strategy combining telemarketing with strategic, face-to-face engagements to deploy suite of cross-border collection, payment, FX settlement, and risk mitigation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and manage a team of 5 - 10 sales representatives. Foster a high-energy, collaborative culture, managing daily sales metrics, performance tracking, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Field Coaching: Conduct regular field coaching and joint client visits to support team members in closing high-value deals and navigating complex customer objections.
  • Market Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute localised go-to-market strategies targeting B2B SME exporters. Optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) using data analytics to drive sales efficiency.
  • Omnichannel Acquisition: Drive business development pipelines using a high-volume blend of telemarketing, in-person consultations, and innovative social-media-driven client sourcing.
  • Ecosystem Networking: Build and leverage a robust personal network of B2B traders, logistics providers, and industry associations to generate high-potential leads.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Serve as the strategic bridge between frontline operations and senior leadership, providing actionable market intelligence, competitor analysis, and performance forecasts.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in a sales management capacity, with a documented track record of successfully managing a team of at least 5 representatives.
  • Industry Domain: Strong preference for candidates from B2B SaaS, Fintech, Corporate Taxation, or Cross-Border Logistics environments.
  • Commercial Mindset: High results-orientation, self-motivated, and capable of thriving within a fast-paced, high-pressure corporate ecosystem.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, collaborative negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic Assets (Preferred): An existing network within the local SME exporter community and practical experience with social-media-driven customer acquisition.
