ABOUT THE ROLE

  • We are looking for a driven and hands-on Restaurant Manager to take full ownership of one of our store locations. You will operate like a small business owner responsible for sales growth, profitability, food safety, team development, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in line with our ENRICH culture. You will lead a team of 15 - 30 people across a fast-paced QSR environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Operations & Food Safety

  • Run smooth daily shifts meeting speed of service targets (ICF: 60s; YYE: 180s)
  • Maintain QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) standards and pass all health inspections
  • Enforce strict food safety protocols including weekly self-audits and team certification compliance
  • Manage equipment upkeep and report issues within 24 hours

Financial Management

  • Own the store P&L sales, food cost, labour cost, waste, and EBITDA
  • Prepare monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis
  • Track food cost % daily and reconcile delivery app settlements (Glovo, Chowdeck) with POS
  • Enforce the no-cash policy; investigate and resolve payment discrepancies

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop team members alongside the HRBP
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews; create development plans for high-potential staff
  • Coach Supervisors and Assistant Restaurant Managers on shift management and P&L basics
  • Drive team retention through recognition, feedback, and clear career pathways

Customer Experience & Local Marketing

  • Resolve 90%+ of customer complaints within 24 hours across all channels
  • Monitor delivery app ratings and lead continuous service improvement
  • Execute at least 2 local store marketing (LSM) activities per month

Inventory & Reporting

  • Conduct weekly stock counts; enforce FIFO and log all waste with reason codes
  • Submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time
  • Attend all Business Review Meetings

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Commercial: Store EBITDA, food cost 2% of budget, labour cost on target, 5%+ YoY sales growth
  • Operations: Ops audit >90%, zero health violations, speed of service met, waste <1% of sales
  • People: Turnover <40% p.a., internal promotion rate >30%, training completion >90%
  • Customer: CSAT >85%, delivery app rating >4.2/5, complaints resolved within 24 hrs
  • Compliance: Payment discrepancy <0.5%, zero food safety incidents

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years as an Assistant Restaurant Manager OR 2+ years as a Restaurant Manager in QSR
  • Proven P&L management experience (sales, food cost, labour)
  • Valid food safety certification
  • Track record of recruiting, training, and leading teams of 15+
  • Experience with digital payments and delivery app operations (Glovo, Chowdeck, etc.)

DESIRABLE

  • Multi-brand QSR experience
  • Experience with local store marketing (LSM)
  • Familiarity with Nigerian labour law and health regulations
