  • The Public-Private Partnership & Investment Promotions Office (PPP&IP Office), Office of the Governor, Abia State, is looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide executive, administrative, and coordination support to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft executive briefs, reports, presentations, memoranda, correspondence, and decision-support documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, action trackers, and follow-up on key decisions.
  • Manage proposals, submissions, and executive correspondence, identifying priority issues and required actions.
  • Coordinate inputs from internal teams and stakeholders to support effective decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records, document control systems, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Support research, special projects, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, English, Mass Communication, Project Management, Engineering, Secretarial Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' relevant professional experience, including support to senior executives, project teams, government institutions, financial institutions, consulting firms, or development organisations.
  • Demonstrable experience preparing executive documents, reports, presentations, meeting records, and project documentation.
  • Experience in PPPs, investment promotion, infrastructure, public service, banking, consulting, law, or development finance is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, writing, research, and organisational skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word proficiency, strong PowerPoint skills, and working knowledge of Excel and digital collaboration tools.
  • High integrity, discretion, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Previous experience directly supporting a Managing Director, CEO, Founder, or senior executive is an advantage. Experience within construction, engineering, real estate, property development, or a related industry is an added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational, time-management, and follow-up skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong initiative, judgement, and problem-solving ability.
