  • Amel International Service Limited is looking for a hands-on and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering/Maintenance Team in Lagos.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, plant efficiency, electrical safety and minimal production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, install and maintain industrial electrical control panels.
  • Install, monitor and maintain three-phase industrial electric motors.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults affecting production equipment.
  • Provide prompt technical support to Maintenance and Production teams.
  • Execute preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
  • Evaluate electrical systems and implement improvements, upgrades and modifications.
  • Support initiatives to improve plant efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate electrical maintenance and equipment records.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • B.Sc./HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years relevant industrial/manufacturing electrical maintenance experience.
  • FMCG/manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of three-phase motors, electrical control panels and industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and read electrical drawings/schematics.
  • Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Safety-conscious and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
