The Digital Marketing Specialist will strengthen the Office's digital visibility, public image and stakeholder engagement by translating PPP projects, investment opportunities, government initiatives and stakeholder engagements into accurate, timely and protocol-sensitive digital communication. The role will combine digital strategy, content production, channel management, analytics and reputation monitoring.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute a disciplined digital communication strategy aligned with the DG's Office, PPP delivery and investment-promotion priorities.
Plan and manage approved content calendars across the Office website and relevant social-media channels, ensuring appropriate review and approval before publication.
Produce and edit website copy, social posts, captions, basic graphics, digital flyers, short-form videos and other campaign assets using appropriate digital tools.
Support digital campaigns for PPP projects, investment opportunities, events and stakeholder engagements; segment audiences and optimise content for reach, engagement and qualified enquiries.
Monitor website and social-media performance, engagement, enquiries, SEO indicators and campaign results; prepare concise analytics reports and evidence-based recommendations for improvement.
Monitor online conversations, misinformation and reputation risks; verify facts, escalate sensitive issues promptly and support approved institutional responses.
Maintain organised digital records, content archives, source materials, approvals and account-access controls, while protecting confidential and commercially sensitive information.
Work closely with the DG's Office, project teams and relevant units; provide timely digital coverage of official meetings, investor engagements, events and field activities where required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, Business, English, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrable professional experience in digital marketing, social-media management, content production or corporate/institutional communications, with evidence of campaigns or measurable digital outcomes.
A portfolio or verifiable work samples demonstrating content creation, campaign execution, social-media management, video/graphic production, analytics or website/CMS work is required.
Experience in Government, investment promotion, PPPs, infrastructure, development organisations, corporate communications or other stakeholder-sensitive environments will be an added advantage.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Excellent written and spoken English; strong storytelling, copywriting, editing, video editing, research, fact-checking and stakeholder-communication skills, with sound judgement on public-sector protocol and reputation risk.
Strong hands-on proficiency with social-media platforms and management tools, basic graphic/video production, website/CMS administration, analytics and SEO; familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe applications or equivalent will be useful.
High integrity, discretion, attention to detail, initiative and political neutrality; able to work under pressure, interpret performance data, respond quickly to emerging issues and collaborate effectively across teams.
