Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point person for office manager duties including maintenance, human resources, accounting, office equipment, bills, errands, stationaries, vendors, scheduling of meetings, appointments and so on.
  • Manage daily business operations, policies and procedures, human resources and accounting.
  • Manage office budget, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate onboarding process for new hires and establish production KPIs and assessments.
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities like parties, celebrations and conferences.
  • Take into account, the needs of internal and external stakeholders and incorporate them into strategic plans.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation.
  • Ensure legal compliance for the organisation.
  • Ensure a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realise our established mission and objectives.
  • Coordinate the organisation's administration system and general workflows.
  • Liaise with consultants to coordinate recruitment and training for staff and clients.
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the organisation.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience working as a Business Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office - MS Excel, MS Word and others.
  • Hands on experience with office machines, like computers and printers.
  • Familiarity with office software like ERP, Accounting, inventory management, email scheduling tools, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
  • The ability to interpret financial data and allocate budgets.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Relevant certifications or MBA could be a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI tools can also be a plus.
  • BSc in Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources Management, MBA or relevant qualification and experience.
