Responsibilities
Manage corporate compliance across the Region, including fraud prevention, conflicts of interest, sanctions screening, data protection, safeguarding and sensitive complaints.
Provide functional leadership to compliance staff and focal points.
Implement and strengthen WHH’s Corporate Compliance Management Program.
Deliver compliance training to staff and partners, maintaining training records.
Ensure sensitive complaints are channelled through WHH’s global Complaints Response Mechanism.
Initiate, conduct or oversee investigations of sensitive compliance cases.
Collaborate with Legal & Compliance at Head Office and functions such as HR, IT, Finance and Supply Chain.
Advise Regional Management and Country Directors on compliance matters.
Represent WHH Compliance in external expert meetings and networks.ProfileEducation
Profile

At least 5 years’ relevant professional experience in compliance or risk management.
Knowledge of humanitarian context and multicultural environments.
Experience in training and capacity building.Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
High integrity, initiative, selforganization and resilience under pressure.

Contract & Conditions
Initial contract duration: 1 year, with good prospects for extension.
Position based in one of WHH’s country offices in Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Zimbabwe or Malawi.
Employment under national terms and conditions of the duty station.
Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the chosen duty station.
