Job Summary

  • We are seeking a qualified and experienced Technical Drawing Teacher to join our academic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, skilled in technical drawing concepts, and committed to helping students develop strong drafting, design, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Technical Drawing in accordance with the approved curriculum.
  • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons that promote student understanding.
  • Assess, evaluate, and monitor students' academic progress.
  • Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, performance, and assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or NCE in Technical Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a Technical Drawing Teacher.
  • Strong knowledge of Technical Drawing principles and relevant curricula.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of technical drawing instruments. Knowledge of CAD software is an added advantage.
  • A valid teaching qualification or registration is an added advantage.
