Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development efforts, acquire new clients, and manage strategic accounts within key sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored ICT solutions that meet client needs.

The role requires a proactive professional with strong sales industry knowledge and a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the public sector and government parastatals.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new customer acquisition.
  • Present, promote, and sell the company's ICT solutions and services to prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and cost - benefit analyses to recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and business development objectives within defined timelines.
  • Coordinate closely with Presales, Technical, and Operations teams to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports to management.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Continuously improve sales performance through feedback, training, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Account Manager, or Key Account Manager, preferably within the ICT or technology solutions industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT solutions sales across sectors such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Retail, or Construction.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Established relationships with OEM partners and technology distributors is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Business Relationship Management (BRM) and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
