Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide cost estimation, quantity measurement, contract administration, and commercial support for oil & gas projects.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven experience preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), managing project costs, evaluating contractor claims, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
  • Develop cost estimates, budgets, and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and support contract administration.
  • Assess variations, contractor claims, interim valuations, and final accounts.
  • Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and commercial performance reports.
  • Verify completed work quantities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Liaise with project teams, contractors, consultants, and clients on commercial matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 8 - 10 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within Oil & Gas, EPC/EPIC, or industrial projects.
  • Strong experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and claims management.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts, procurement processes, and tender evaluations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CostX, Candy, Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar QS software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
