We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Officer to join our Operations team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring production and project activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and client specifications, identifying and reporting production errors, and supporting continuous improvement to achieve premium customer satisfaction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor production and project activities to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Implement Quality Control Plans to ensure products and processes meet applicable quality standards.
Conduct and supervise inspections, and review reports and documentation from external inspectors.
Review project and production quality control practices and identify areas requiring improvement.
Identify, document and report production errors and quality issues for prompt corrective action.
Develop procedures for inspecting production equipment and monitoring their condition.
Investigate customer complaints relating to product quality and recommend appropriate solutions.
Conduct internal and support external audits to ensure quality control requirements are implemented and maintained.
Support the Projects team in addressing client quality-related matters.
Liaise with Sales, Projects and Operations teams to ensure products meet specifications and delivery requirements.
Review and recommend the acceptance of contractors' quality programmes, plans and checklists.
Follow up on corrective actions to verify compliance and continuous improvement.
Work closely with the Operations team to promote efficient workflows and quality output.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor materials, workmanship and regulatory compliance.
Support the company's commitment to safety and adherence to its core values.
Prepare quality-related reports and provide relevant updates to Management.
Carry out other duties that may be assigned by Management.
Requirements
B.Sc. / HND in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Management, Production Management or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
Experience in quality management systems, preferably within furniture manufacturing, interior design, construction, manufacturing or a related industry.
