The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, production processes, and completed jobs meet approved quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilites
Inspect incoming materials and verify specifications, dimensions, colour, thickness, and condition.
Conduct quality inspections during cutting, CNC machining, edge banding, and other production stages.
Verify dimensional accuracy against approved cutting lists and specifications.
Identify, document, and report defects and non-conformances.
Conduct final inspection of completed jobs and minimize rework and rejection.
Follow up on corrective actions and monitor recurring defects.
Maintain accurate quality inspection records and reports.
Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Optimizer, and other relevant teams.
Requirements
HND or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience in Quality Control within manufacturing, furniture, woodworking, or a related environment is an advantage.
Good understanding of measurements, specifications, and quality inspection procedures.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
