Job Summary

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Youtopia Beauty, ensuring seamless coordination across retail operations, inventory management, supply chain, sales support, logistics, and customer experience. The role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining stock accuracy, improving processes, and supporting business growth while ensuring excellent service delivery across all channels. The Operations Manager will work closely with the Managing Director to execute business strategies and achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency across retail, warehouse, and administrative functions.
  • Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate procurement, supplier relationships, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
  • Supervise order fulfilment, logistics, and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate customer order processing.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify operational improvements to support revenue growth.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare operational, inventory, and performance reports for the Managing Director.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the operations and retail teams to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational best practices.
  • Support the Managing Director with strategic initiatives and other operational projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in an operations management role within the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, fashion, retail, or FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
  • Proven experience managing teams and driving operational performance.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyse sales and inventory data to support business decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management or ERP systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
