Job Summary
The Strategy & Operations Manager provides strategic, operational, and analytical support to the Managing Director, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, monitoring business performance, and driving the execution of strategic priorities across the organization.
The role serves as a coordination hub between Management, Operations, Credit, Finance, Compliance, and Business Development, ensuring strategic decisions are translated into measurable actions and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives, executive decisions, and action plans to ensure timely execution across the organization.
Prepare executive reports, presentations, briefing notes, management dashboards, and decision-support materials for Management and the Board.
Monitor departmental performance against KPIs and strategic objectives, analyse business trends, and escalate key risks, challenges, and opportunities.
Coordinate cross-functional projects, track timelines, facilitate collaboration, and resolve execution bottlenecks.
Conduct business, market, and competitor research to support strategic planning, business growth, product development, and decision-making.
Review operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, governance, and service delivery.
Support the implementation of corporate policies, strategic initiatives, and organizational change programmes.
Coordinate management and operational meetings, document decisions, and track agreed action items to completion.
Monitor regulatory obligations and support internal audit, compliance activities, and timely submission of required reports.
Provide periodic reports and actionable insights on strategic initiatives, operational performance, project status, and organizational priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
2 - 3 years' experiencein strategy, operations, management consulting, business analysis, executive support, or financial services.
Experience within aregulated financial institutionis preferred.
MBA or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
