Job Title: Midwife
Key Responsibilities
Provide quality antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and newborn care.
Conduct maternal and fetal assessments and monitor patient progress.
Assist with normal deliveries and support obstetric emergencies.
Educate mothers and families on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, family planning, and newborn care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Work collaboratively with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and professional standards.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Midwifery.
Valid licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.
At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, professional, and able to work under pressure.
