Job Description

  • We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • The successful candidate will ensure optimal system performance, compliance with safety standards, and the efficient execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ensure all M&E systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors on installation and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare maintenance reports and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
  • Support the execution of mechanical and electrical engineering projects.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in construction, facility management, or a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance practices, and fault diagnosis.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

Translate project briefs and technical requirements into practical and buildable architectural solutions. Review existing designs and identify areas requiring improvement, modification, or coordination. Ensure architectural designs meet applicable building regulations, standards, codes, and project specifications. Contribute to design development from concept stage through detailed design and construction documentation. Provide architectural input into value engineering and design optimisation exercises.
