Job Summary

  • To carry out maintenance routine checks, supervision, and monitoring of the production machines to ensure smooth and efficient operation and ensure uninterrupted factory production.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the production machinery according to standard operating procedure, ensuring efficient and accurate production processes.
  • Develop and implement a preventive and corrective maintenance schedule to ensure machinery operates optimally and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues on the equipment promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections to ensure accurate machine performance tracking, facilitate troubleshooting, and support informed decision-making for maintenance planning and operational efficiency.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of production activities (material consumption and wastage), machine performance, and issues encountered during operations to report these to the supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an OND in Engineering with 1-3 years experience.

Documenting the working environment conditions for each product, including temperature, humidity, and pressure, in the designated records. Adherence to the company's internal regulations and all administrative orders and circulars issued by Top management. Commitment to attending the relevant trainings organized by the company and applying the information derived from the trainings during the performance of the work. The successful candidate will ensure that blistering operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), approved SOPs, batch packaging records, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor automatic and semi-automatic blister packaging machines for pharmaceutical products. Set up blistering machines according to approved batch packaging instructions and SOPs. Perform machine changeovers, product changeovers, and format adjustments. Ensure correct feeding and handling of tablets/capsules during the blistering process. Set and monitor machine parameters including forming temperature, sealing temperature, machine speed, pressure, and other applicable process parameters.
