Job Details
Assist in providing first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
Support end-users with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and
OneDrive.
Help with the setup, installation, and configuration of laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Assist in supporting and monitoring CCTV and physical security systems.
Perform basic network connectivity checks and escalate issues as appropriate.
Help maintain and update the IT asset inventory with accurate records.
Support user account creation, access provisioning, and password resets.
Assist with VPN setup and basic connectivity troubleshooting for remote users.
Log, track, and document all support requests and their resolutions.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior IT staff with clear, detailed notes.
Assist in maintaining IT documentation and updating internal knowledge base articles.
Requirements
Must-Have
Basic understanding of computer hardware components and common operating systems (Windows, macOS).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
General understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, IP addresses, connectivity troubleshooting).
Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, user-first approach to support.
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work both independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have
Exposure to any VPN configuration tools.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory or Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
Awareness of IT asset management or ticketing systems.
Familiarity with printer setup, driver installation, and peripheral troubleshooting.
Understanding of basic cybersecurity hygiene (password management, phishing awareness).
Any prior volunteer or hands-on IT experience is an advantage.
