We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our team at a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in Dakar, Senegal.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in I&C maintenance within a CCPP or power generation facility.
Fluent in English (Mandatory).
French knowledge is a plus.
Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA systems, and industrial automation.
Experience with field instrumentation, analyzers, sensors, and control valves.
Ability to interpret I&C schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
Strong adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of I&C systems, including DCS, SCADA, PLC, field instrumentation, and control valves.
Knowledge of Turbine Control Systems, such as Siemens T300, GE Mark VIe will be plus.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure plant reliability and efficiency.
Diagnose and resolve control system faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
Support plant overhauls, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and prepare technical reports.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize plant performance.
