Job Description

  • We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and responsible Housekeeper to join its team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital premises.
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, corridors, washrooms, and other designated areas.
  • Properly handle and dispose of waste in accordance with hospital hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly used and maintained.
  • Report maintenance issues, spills, damaged equipment, or other hazards promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: School Certificate (SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience in cleaning homes, offices, hospitals, or similar environments.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work responsibly, efficiently, and with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be hardworking, trustworthy, punctual, and attentive to detail.
