We are looking for an experienced Fleet Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising fleet maintenance and operations, ensuring the availability, safety, reliability and efficient utilisation of our trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the inspection, repair, maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and vehicle downtime.
  • Provide technical support and quality assurance on fleet maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and report on fuel, tyres, spare parts and fleet maintenance.
  • Ensure fleet compliance with safety and transport regulations.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Finance, HSSEQ, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth fleet operations.
  • Ensure vehicles are fit and available for operational use.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and generate relevant reports.
  • Support the timely recovery of broken-down vehicles and assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in fleet management/maintenance or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of fleet management systems and vehicle maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of diesel/gas engine mechanics and vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good report-writing skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and manage competing priorities.
