JOB SUMMARY

  • We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, budgeting, reporting, cost management, cash flow, statutory compliance, and financial controls while supporting strategic business decisions and ensuring the company's financial stability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the company's financial and accounting oyerations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow. Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cost accounting and financial analysis.
  • Oversee inventory costing and manufacturing financial reporting.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Supervise the accounting team and strengthen internal controls.
  • Provide financial advice and recommendactions to management.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Accounting/Finance, preferably in a manufacturing company.
  • Proven expertise in manufacturing accounts, costing, inventory, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, budgeting, and management reporting.
  • Demonstrated track record of accurate and timely account preparation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

ADDED ADVANTAGES

  • Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACA, or ACCA). Experience in agro-processing, food processing, or manufacturing.
  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
