About the role

  • We are currently recruiting for a reputable Microfinance Bank and seeking experienced and target-driven Direct Sales Agents (DSAs) to join its growing sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new customers through field sales, referrals, direct prospecting, and other approved channels.
  • Promote the Bank's products and services, including loans, savings, accounts, digital banking solutions, and other financial products.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into active customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Explain product features, eligibility requirements, repayment terms, and other relevant information to customers.
  • Support customers through account opening, onboarding, documentation, and loan application processes.
  • Conduct market visits and identify new business opportunities within assigned locations.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank's policies, KYC requirements, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports to the line manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an OND in any relevant field.
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in: Microfinance Banking, Fintech, Commercial/Retail Banking, Lending, Agency Banking, Consumer Finance, Digital Financial Services
  • Proven experience in direct sales, customer acquisition, loan sales, deposit mobilization, or financial-product sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work with and consistently meet sales targets.
  • Good understanding of financial products and customer onboarding processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned market/location and willingness to conduct field sales activities.
  • Proficiency in using smartphones, digital platforms, Microsoft Office, and basic CRM/sales applications.
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, result-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
