  • Farm Workers will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the school's farm and agricultural projects.
  • Duties will include preparing land, planting, watering, weeding, applying approved fertilisers, harvesting crops and assisting with the general care and management of farm produce and equipment.
  • Farm Workers will also help to maintain clean and organised farm areas, monitor crops for pests or diseases and report any concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge or experience in gardening, farming, poultry production or a related agricultural field.
  • Ability to carry out physically demanding outdoor work.
  • Knowledge of basic plant care, crop cultivation, animal or poultry care, depending on the specific role.
  • Ability to use and maintain basic gardening, farming or poultry equipment safely.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, health and safety procedures.
  • Good observation, organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
