Main Duties & Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and management of the project.
Lead project startup, planning, reviews and closeout.
Develop and monitor implementation, spending and procurement plans.
Oversee budget performance and address variances.
Ensure timely procurement of agricultural inputs and services.
Monitor risks and implement mitigation measures.
Prepare and submit highquality donor and internal reports.Technical Leadership & Programme Quality
Provide technical leadership across food systems and livelihoods.
Oversee climatesmart agriculture interventions.
Ensure nutritionsensitive approaches are implemented.
Guide market systems interventions and financial inclusion.
Oversee natural resource and ecosystem management.
Ensure gender equality and women’s empowerment integration.
Promote inclusion of youth, persons with disabilities, refugees and hosts.
Strengthen existing URRI farmer groups and delivery systems.Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL)
Work with MEAL staff to operationalise the framework.
Ensure systematic monitoring of outputs, outcomes and indicators.
Use data and feedback for adaptive management.
Lead project reviews and learning processes.
Document results, success stories and lessons learned.Team & Resource Management
Lead and manage multidisciplinary project team.
Provide supervision, coaching and (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});performance management.
Coordinate with Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Administration.
Ensure efficient and accountable use of resources.Coordination, Partnerships & Representation
Coordinate with government authorities and district structures.
Represent DRC in donor and technical forums.
Strengthen engagement with farmer groups and community institutions.
Facilitate privatesector linkages with agroinput suppliers, offtakers and financial institutions.
Coordinate with humanitarian and development actors to ensure complementarity.RequirementsEducation
Requirements
University Degree in Agriculture, Economics, Development Studies or related field.
Master’s degree desirable.Experience
5–7 years’ experience in food systems, livelihoods or resilience programming.
Proven experience in project cycle management and donor compliance.
Experience working with refugees and host communities.Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Technical expertise in climatesmart agriculture, market systems and financial inclusion.
Knowledge of MEAL frameworks and adaptive management.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and representation skills.
