Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement global HR strategies aligned with Cordaid’s priorities and cultural transition.
Ensure HR practices support Locally Led Development (LLD).People Management & Leadership Support
Advise managers and leadership teams on leadership development, performance management, and organizational change.
Support team effectiveness and transformation processes.Workforce Planning & Effectiveness
Coordinate workforce design across domains and regions.
Develop scalable HR services enabling lean country structures with robust employee support.HR Operations & Digital Enablement
Ensure accurate delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle.
Promote effective use of HRIS, workflow tools, and people analytics.Talent Acquisition & Staff Development
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning.
Attract and retain qualified professionals globally.HR Governance & Compliance
Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and labor regulations.
Uphold Cordaid’s Integrity Compliance Framework and mitigate HR risks.Employee Wellbeing
Oversee absence management, duty of care initiatives, and organizational health.
Contribute to safe and responsible working conditions in complex contexts.Team Leadership
Manage and coach HR personnel, including HR Officers.
Foster employee development, collaboration, and continuous improvement.RequirementsQualifications & Experience
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HR management, organizational development, or workforce planning in international or complex environments.
Strong knowledge of HR governance, labor regulations, workforce analytics, and HRIS platforms.
Proven experience supporting organizational transformation and distributed operating models.
Excellent advisory, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Collaborative team player with a One Cordaid mindset.
Accountable, empathetic, and committed to integrity and ethical behavior.
Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset.
