Responsibilities
Provide management and technical oversight across project cycle.
Ensure design, startup, implementation and closeout align with CRS standards and donor guidelines.
Manage team dynamics, staff wellbeing and performance.Capacity Strengthening
Oversee technical assistance and training for CRS staff, partners and government counterparts.
Support development of frameworks, SOPs, tools and guidance at national and subnational levels.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish hazard triggers and early action frameworks.Learning & Knowledge Management
Document and disseminate lessons learned and innovations.
Support adaptive management and integration of evidence into program design.Resource Mobilisation
Identify funding opportunities and support proposal development.
Serve as technical lead/writer for DRR/AA proposals.Partnerships & Coordination
Strengthen partnerships relevant to DRR/AA.
Represent CRS in coordination forums, clusters and technical working groups.
Engage with government, donors, UN agencies and local partners.Financial Stewardship
Ensure timely project expenditures and efficient use of resources.RequirementsEducation
Requirements
Bachelor’s (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});degree required Master’s preferred.Experience
Minimum 5 years in project management and DRR/AA.
Strong knowledge of Uganda’s coordination mechanisms and protection principles.
Experience in international NGO settings and with local partners.
Experience in grants management and proposal writing.Skills & Abilities
