We are looking for a highly organized Business Support Coordinator to bridge the gap between our operations, regulatory requirements, and global suppliers. This isn't just an administrative role; you will be the engine room for our order processing, ensuring that scientific equipment and supplies move seamlessly from manufacturers to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management: Accurately process customer orders with suppliers, ensuring all specifications are met and goods are shipped within the required timelines.
Documentation & Logistics: Manage the end-to-step processing of Letter of Credit (LC) orders, logistics, and all necessary shipping documentation.
Regulatory Compliance: Secure import and clearing permits from regulatory bodies and handle all statutory documents required for international trade.
Inventory Oversight: Receive incoming consignments and meticulously verify them against packing lists.
Supplier Relations: Foster and maintain positive international relationships with our global suppliers and manufacturers.
Reporting: Collate, review, and submit timely reports regarding commercial policies and technical support expansion.
Required Qualifications
Education: You must hold a Tertiary qualification (B.Sc., B.Tech., B.Eng., or H.N.D.) in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Science Laboratory Technology.
Academic Standing: Minimum of a Second Class or Upper Credit.
Experience: At least 4 years of cognate work experience in a laboratory setting (as an Analyst or Technologist) or as sales personnel specifically for science and lab equipment.
Key Skills and Competencies
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of computers and mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication: Exceptional listening and questioning skills, paired with professional written and verbal communication.
Aptitude: A sharp ability to learn and apply new scientific and commercial concepts quickly.
