Your dashboard is the home screen. It summarizes what needs your attention for your role, and its cards only appear for the modules and capabilities your organization is entitled to. There are tailored dashboard experiences for the full platform, for Careersome Light, and multi-plan tenants.
The narrative hero (Today's story) The top of the dashboard shows an AI-generated narrative summary built from your real data (your work, your team, or the organization, depending on your role). This is the same Stories engine used elsewhere in the product; it highlights what changed and what to focus on rather than showing a generic greeting.
KPI / stat cards Below the narrative you get a row of stat cards. Which cards appear depends on your role and entitlements. Examples seen across roles include:
- My Tasks, My Reviews, My Goals (personal)
- Team Performance, Team Goals Progress, Team Development, Team Capacity, Team Members, Pending Reviews, Pending Leave, Upcoming Deadlines (managers)
- Total Employees, Active Jobs, Hours This Week (organization / operational)
On the Careersome Light dashboard the stat cards are: Open jobs, Total candidates, Pending leave, Performance reviews, and Team size.
Other dashboard sections
- My Tasks / activity list: pending and overdue items across modules that you can act on
- Team Leave Summary: for managers and org roles with Time Off enabled, showing who is off and pending approvals
- Needs attention section on higher tiers, surfacing items that require action
- A getting-started checklist for newer or Light workspaces
Roughly what each role sees
- Admin: broadest company view plus organization settings tasks
- HR: similar operational depth for entitled HR modules, without organization settings
- Manager: team-focused cards when you have direct reports (approvals, team performance, team leave, and so on)
- Employee: personal priorities (your tasks, reviews, goals, time off)
Reports For deeper, filterable, exportable analysis, use the dedicated Reports area. Reports categories are gated per module (see "Creating Custom Reports").
If a card never appears Confirm the underlying module/capability is entitled for your organization and that your role has access before assuming a bug.
