Who can open this area: Organization settings is limited to Administrators. HR users run day-to-day HR modules but cannot change these company-wide configuration screens.

Company information

  1. Navigate to Organization > Settings
  2. View and edit company details:
    • Company name
    • Website
    • Industry
    • Company size
    • Country and city
    • Address and contact information
    • Company description

Managing Departments

  1. Go to Organization > Departments tab
  2. Create Department:
    • Enter department name
    • Add description
    • Click "Create"
  3. Edit Department: Update name or description
  4. Delete Department: Remove if no members (cannot delete departments with active employees)

Department Usage

  • Organize employees by department
  • Filter reports and analytics by department
  • Target engagement surveys to specific departments
  • Assign onboarding templates by department
  • Configure review cycles for specific departments

Email Templates

  • Create email templates for common communications
  • Use templates for automated emails
  • Customize templates with company branding

Time-Off Policies

  • Configure leave types and default allocations
  • Set up leave policies per leave type
  • Manage employee leave balances

Projects

  • Create and manage organizational projects
  • Assign employees to projects
  • Track project-related activities

Best Practices

  • Keep company information up-to-date
  • Create departments that match your organizational structure
  • Use consistent department naming
  • Regularly review and update settings
  • Ensure department structure supports your HR processes
