كيف يصنّف Careersome المرشحين ويقيّمهم

Availability: AI assisted candidate ranking is included on Careersome Light (within plan limits) and on paid tiers that include it. If scores never appear on a job, check your plan with your administrator.

Every applicant gets a match score from 0 to 100, built from how well they line up with what the job actually asks for:

  • Skill match, required skills versus what the candidate lists
  • Experience fit, years and relevance of past roles
  • Education relevance
  • Location proximity, including remote eligibility
  • Keyword match, semantic matching between the resume and your job description
  • Project relevance, how closely their past work maps to the role's responsibilities
  • Technical proficiency, depth and breadth of relevant technical skill

Open any candidate to see the full breakdown as a chart, not just the single number, so you understand why they scored the way they did.

How candidates are grouped While a candidate is still in the Applied stage, they're automatically bucketed so the strongest applicants surface first:

  • Top Matches: score of 85 or higher
  • Potential Matches: score of 70 to 84
  • Other Candidates: everything else

Once a candidate moves past Applied into your interview stages, this AI grouping steps aside and ranking switches to your panel's interview scores instead, since human judgment takes over from there.

Important to know

  • The AI score is a guide, not a gatekeeper. Nothing is automatically rejected or advanced based on it, you always make the actual decision.
  • The more specific your job's skills, experience, and qualification requirements are, the more accurate the matching. Vague postings produce vague scores.
  • Review Potential Matches too, not just Top Matches. A strong candidate with a slightly unusual background can score just under the Top Matches line.
