Scheduling an interview
- Open the candidate's detail page
- Choose Schedule Interview from the Actions section
- Pick a date and time
- Choose the interview type: Phone, Virtual, or In Person
- Add notes such as questions to ask, a video link, or a location
- Save it
Every interview is logged chronologically on the candidate's profile, so you can see their full interview history at a glance.
Panel feedback that actually rolls up Instead of chasing five people's opinions across Slack and email, each interviewer submits a structured evaluation directly on the candidate: a score, plus pros, cons, and comments. Careersome combines these into one consolidated scorecard with a clear verdict band, so a hiring decision doesn't get stuck waiting on scattered feedback:
- 8 and above: Strong hire
- 6 and above: Hire
- 4 and above: Maybe
- Below 4: No hire
Interviewers only need access to submit their evaluation, they don't need full dashboard access to participate on a panel.
Best practice: schedule interviews as soon as a candidate is confirmed for a stage rather than letting them sit, and ask every interviewer to submit their evaluation before the group discusses the candidate, so first impressions don't quietly influence everyone else's score.
