Dashboards summarize work that matters for your role, but widgets and metrics only appear for modules your company subscribes to.

Typical patterns

  • Admin: Broadest company snapshot: recruiting, performance, engagement (if on), time off, onboarding, and cross-module KPIs when entitled
  • HR: Similar operational depth as Admin for HR-owned processes, without org-settings tasks
  • Manager: Team-focused tiles when you have direct reports (approvals, review progress, team time off, etc.)
  • Employee: Personal priorities: My time off, My performance, tasks, and onboarding/offboarding when active

Reports The dedicated Reports area (and advanced analytics) requires the analytics capability in your package. Careersome Light includes reporting and insights for the modules you can access within Light limits; Basic full suite and above expand workforce reporting, with deeper cuts on Professional.

What you might see

  • KPI cards with trend hints
  • Charts over time
  • Task and notification summaries
  • AI-assisted insights where Professional-style features are enabled

Filtering

  • Date ranges (last 7 / 30 / 90 days or custom)
  • Department or cohort filters where the screen supports them

Practices

  • Check the dashboard at least weekly for approvals
  • Drill into Reports when you need exportable history
  • If a metric never appears, confirm the module is entitled before assuming a bug
