Halifield Schools is seeking a passionate, experienced, and highly competent Upper Elementary Teacher to join our Elementary Section. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of the English Language and proven ability to teach English effectively, while supporting pupils' overall academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the approved curriculum. Teach English Language effectively, with strong emphasis on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, spelling, and communication skills. Develop pupils' confidence and proficiency in both written and spoken English. Assess, monitor, and report pupils' academic progress. Differentiate instruction to meet the varying learning needs of pupils. Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour. Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding pupils' progress and development. Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programmes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education, English, English Education, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience in a reputable primary or elementary school. Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential. Strong experience teaching English Language at the elementary level. Strong knowledge of the Nigerian and British curricula. Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. TRCN certification is an added advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology tools is an added advantage.
