Airframe Assembly: Bond structural parts, assemble major airframe sections (fuselage halves, wings, tails), install hardpoints/fittings, perform jig-based alignments, execute structural repairs, and support prototype modifications.
Tooling & Fixtures: Construct, modify, and maintain basic workshop molds, jigs, and fixtures to streamline assembly and improve production efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with carbon fiber, fiberglass, resins, vacuum bagging systems, and precision mold preparation.
Manufacturing Literacy: Ability to work with jig-based alignment setups, structural bonding adhesives, and basic shop tools for trimming and finishing.
Competencies & Mindset: High craftsmanship, attention to structural detail, manual dexterity, and practical problem-solving for prototype rework and fabrication.
