Travel Consultant & Visa Specialist At Akenn Travels And Tours

What You Will Do

• Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, budget and purpose of travel.
• Design and recommend FIT, group and leisure travel experiences.
• Research destinations, hotels, flights, tours, transfers and other travel components.
• Develop attractive and commercially viable travel packages and itineraries.
• Prepare accurate quotations, inclusions, exclusions and pricing.
• Advise clients on visa requirements, documentation and application processes.
• Review client documentation and support visa applications from profiling through submission.
• Coordinate bookings, confirmations and pre-travel arrangements with relevant suppliers.
• Liaise with airlines, hotels, DMCs, tour operators and other travel partners.
• Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to support the launch and promotion of Akenn travel products.
• Handle changes, disruptions and client issues professionally while maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in travel consulting, travel management, visa services or a closely related travel role.
• Strong knowledge of international travel planning, destinations and travel products.
• Practical experience designing itineraries and travel packages.
• Strong understanding of visa requirements and travel documentation.
• Experience managing clients from enquiry through booking and travel completion.
• Ability to independently research travel options and develop suitable recommendations.
• Strong commercial awareness, including travel pricing, margins and product positioning.
• Experience working with airlines, hotels, DMCs, tour operators or other travel suppliers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple client requests and deadlines accurately.
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and decision-making skills.
