Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Training Coordinator for Security Guardsto develop, implement, and oversee training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of our security personnel.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure that all security staff are well-trained in safety procedures, emergency response, customer service, and compliance with legal and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Training Programs:Design and deliver training modules covering security procedures, crisis management, legal requirements, and customer service.
  • Conduct Training Sessions:Lead classroom training, practical drills, and on-the-job training for security personnel.
  • Compliance and Certification:Ensure all security guards meet licensing and certification requirements and maintain compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness:Assess and improve training programs based on feedback, performance reviews, and industry best practices.
  • Emergency Response Training:Conduct scenario-based training for fire safety, first aid, evacuation procedures, and threat assessments.
  • Supervise and Mentor Security Personnel:Provide guidance, mentorship, and continuous development opportunities for security staff.
  • Maintain Training Records:Track training progress, certifications, and refresher courses for all security guards.
  • Collaborate with Management:Work with HR and operations teams to address training needs and security concerns.
  • Perform other duties as may be reasonably assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Training Manager or Trainer in the security industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of security procedures, risk assessment, and emergency response.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with legal requirements and security industry regulations.
  • Certifications in security training, first aid, or law enforcement (preferred).
  • Ability to develop training manuals, materials, and assessments.
  • Experience in law enforcement, military, or private security training.
  • Certified Trainer in security or safety-related disciplines.
  • Ability to conduct hands-on training in defensive tactics, surveillance, and
  • conflict resolution.
  • An ex-military Corp is an added advantage.
