Job Purpose The Cyclotron Technician is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance and optimisation of medical cyclotrons and associated equipment within AMCE's diagnostic facility. Working alongside medical physicists, radiochemists, radiopharmacists and engineers, the technician will play a key role in delivering reliable radiopharmaceuticals to support patient care. This role requires technical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Cyclotron Operation & Isotope Production Operate the cyclotron according to established protocols for the safe and efficient production of medical isotopes. Monitor system performance and promptly report operational issues. Assist with isotope target loading/unloading and transfer to radiochemistry labs. Maintain production records in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
