We are seeking an experienced Technical & Mall Coordinator to coordinate the day-to-day technical and facilities operations of a large commercial mall environment.
The role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, functionality and efficient operation of the mall's building systems, utilities, equipment and technical services.
The successful candidate will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise technical personnel and service providers, monitor equipment performance, manage maintenance schedules and ensure technical issues affecting tenants, customers and mall operations are resolved promptly.
The role requires a technically strong professional who understands commercial facilities, building services and mall operations, with the ability to coordinate both in-house teams and external contractors.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily technical and maintenance operations across the mall and associated facilities.
Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities covering electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, generators, water systems, fire/safety systems and other building utilities.
Monitor the performance and condition of critical mall equipment and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance are carried out as scheduled.
Coordinate with technicians, contractors and external service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical faults and breakdowns.
Manage maintenance work orders and ensure reported technical issues are properly tracked, attended to and closed within agreed timelines.
Support the effective operation of HVAC/chiller systems, generators, electrical panels, pumps, cold rooms and other critical building services.
Requirements
B.Sc / HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management or a related technical field.
4 - 6 years of relevant experience in facilities management, mall operations, commercial property, hospitality, large retail facilities or a similar environment.
Proven experience coordinating technical maintenance operations in a large commercial or multi-tenant facility.
Strong practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and building utility systems.
Good understanding of generators, electrical distribution systems, chillers/HVAC systems, pumps and other critical facility equipment.
Experience supervising technicians, contractors and third-party service providers.
Ability to coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
