Responsibilities

  • Prepares internal requisitions for material replenishment and follow up with procurement.
  • Check for compliance and adherence to stores procedures and quality management system to ensure that only quality materials are received.
  • Ensure effective documentation of all store\'s materials.
  • Ensure timely dispatch and issuance of materials.
  • Proper preservation and monitoring of degradable materials on projects in accordance with SCNL (SEVAN CONSTRUCTION NIGERIA LIMITED).
  • To ensure that stock levels are maintained to avoid stockout and production delays.
  • To ensure timely generation of weekly, and monthly report.
  • To ensure the close supervision and co-ordination of store personnel to achieve set goals.
  • Responsible for initiating request, receiving, opening, storing and replenishing the supplies and merchandise of the store.
  • Keeping and maintaining inventory records of the goods.
  • Checking all the supplies and reporting damage, loss and replenishing the shortage.
  • Coordinating with factory manager and supervisors/ teams in materials/tools allocation and management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Ability to effectively organize and network in accordance with the store staff and production teams.
  • Self-motivated and independent worker.
  • Should be an efficient time manager and have the ability to meet deadlines and targets.

Requirements

  • A work experience in a Construction/steel fabrication company will be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suites.
  • Highly Proactive.

Requirements 1 - 3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role. Good knowledge of inventory management procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational and record-keeping skills. Ability to maintain accurate inventory records. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of integrity, accountability, and responsibility.
